Penetrating, toothed
point for H piles
The TUFTIP H-777 for H Pile is made from our TUFLOY™ ASTM A 148 grade 90/60,
and is WELDPREPED™ (prebeveled for weld attachment, eliminating
costly torch cutting on site) PLUS has integrally cast cutting "teeth" for
obstruction breaking and a toehold on rock. The TUFTIP H-777 has a more penetrating shape, allowing
the point to penetrate through tough strata that an unprotected H Pile would
and should never penetrate. Our integrally toothed points are made under a
US Patent, held by Jack Dougherty. The new designation TUFTIP emphasizes the improved casting and 40%
greater strength of the TUFLOY composition over other competitor’s
points, which are made from ASTM A 27 grade 65/35.

H-777H for 14" H Piles and WF (wide flange) piles is made from
TUFLOY™ ASTM
A 148 grade 90/60, and is WELDPREPED™
(prebeveled for weld attachment, eliminating costly torch cutting on site).
These extra heavy H pile points are special made for WF piles, and have integrally
cast cutting "teeth" for obstruction breaking and a toe-hold on rock. This is
an extremely robust point with a extra large bearing area.
DFP HP-300
Full strength extender
for
H piles
DFP HP-300 H pile
splicer will extend H to any length with the strength of an unspliced H. Job
observations plus field and lab tests prove this for lateral loading on the
x-x or y-y axis. Welding is a little more than twice the flange width. The fabricated
splicer holds the added length against movement, enhancing job safety. The HP-300 is extremely useful in situations
where batter piles must be extended. The HP-300
is available for 10, 12, and 14 inch H piles. Special sizes are also available
and can be made for wide flange beams as well as H piles.
